Laurel, I hear you speak about effective communication, but our division has, for 2 months now, not been given the traditional hour of time during the Division meetings to discuss Senate business. When I objected to this seemingly continuing process, you replied, in part: "the one point I would make is that I think having faculty time to discuss Senate is good, but there is no contractual commitment here and even amongst divisions we have varying approaches to this." This seems inconsistent with your concern over communications.
